Truth be known I shot this while driving (driver distraction laws not in effect at the time)and is made up from 5 images. There are a few spots that need editing however I wanted to see if I could pull this off as it is my first panorama that included animals and people. I shot this location last night. I could only stay about 1 1/2 hours before the mosquitoes won. The pano is made up of 5 images. I spent a few weeks in Slave Lake after the devastating wildfires destroyed about 30% of the towns homes and its businesses. This image was taken July 10th of what was left of their new library.The entire town was evacuated for two weeks and incredibly no one was incurred by the fire. I have been wanting to play around with some filters for awhile now. I managed to pick these filters and holder up the other day. There is a 3 stop ND soft and a P027 warming filter. In a few days I am heading out on a 1000 km solo bike tour. I'll be away for 2 or 3 weeks. During that time I will have limited access to email and uploads. Today I went downtown to shoot the couriers and their bike. Not sure what it is about the bicycle but there is a defiant passion for them. The Alberta Masters Road-race was held in Crossfield yesterday. It was a great day for the bikes, however I think there was a rider or two that might have had something to say about the wind.I shot the entire event in RAW and tried out the new circular polarized lens. This long weekend was great for photos. With Saturdays take the original count was about 2100 photos that I took. Of course there were lots that didn't make the cut. Went to the retinal surgeon on Monday. Good new! The doctor believe he can restore some of my vision.I have a epiretinal membrane (macular pucker) growing on the eyes macula.
